Good Luck Getting Mayweather- Pacquiao Tickets

Well of course I don't really mean that, but yes I do mean that. As of this writing, tickets ARE available.and they're expensive. Probably the most anticipated fight ever, is finally going to happen. And lets be honest here. The money involved in this pairing is astounding. First off , HBO and Showtime, after intense negotiations, will produce a joint pay-per-view telecast said to approach the $400 million mark. That surpasses the $150 million generated by Mayweather's 2013 junior middleweight championship fight against Canelo Alvarez. The telecast itself may cost you $89.95(also a record amount), and the pay-per-view record revenue of $2.4 million is expected to be shattered. Although only small, recreational bets have been placed thus far, Bookmakers are expecting seven figures as the fight draws closer. Oh yeah, the ticket prices. To get ringside seats, you have to have a $250,000 credit line with the MGM management to even have a chance of sitting there. The cheapest tickets available were supposed to be $1,000 and that is long past, and the cheapest ticket even from Main Entrance Tickets right now is $3,600 with the 10% discount. This is a perfect example of the "supply and demand" principle and I for one wish I could be there. But I can also honestly say without reservation that I will be happy forking over the $89.95 (and possibly $10 more for the HD telecast) while eating wings, and being with friends while knowing I'm doing my share of contributing to the biggest boxing payday the sport will ever see.
